Hello fellow human players in league IV. 1. Decided I'd start a discussion to see if anyone will talk. Good luck to everyone and may the best teams win! (I'm definitely looking to find my way back up!)

Seriously, I don't think I've had a healthy front court since the first game. Been playing with my tactics, but the lack of stamina on my team makes every change I make seem worthless. I've also been trying to train only fitness over the course of the last two years, and maybe four to six players gained stamina... So it seems like I'm destined for another demotion. Just gonna keep fiddling with the tactics to find some change that works.

I misspoke, finally I will have a fully healthy front court for the first time during conference! I just have another injured player, which I haven't had a fully healthy team since the first exhibition game. I just expect injuries now.

You can call this a comeback! Lol. A healthy front court is leading to a resurrection on the very slow start. Good luck in our match-up tomorrow, it should be a good one! You get to play a fully healthy Bulldogs squad!!

Nice, my injured frontcourt strikes again... I swear, The Aussie center I recruited just loves riding the bench. He seems to be injured every third game. He'll play two, and be injured for the third... Argh

Even better, that Canadian recruit Armitage is not committing, I need to know eventually if I'm going to get him or not... I need to know if I need to put more points into other recruits to fill that scholarship... Argh, lol.

I'm not going to be demoted yet!!! My teams making that last push, just can't afford a loss with how many 9-11 teams there are...

Well Miss State has won 6 straight so a 3 point loss wasn't that bad. Still have a 2 game lead at least.

Don't know where this team has come from, kinda wish they had put together a full season, but I'll take getting hot at the end of the season.

Tennessee is just 6-24 but they beat me once this season and both games were very close. Should be a tough 1 vs 16

And we would blow a 9 point half-time lead... 0-2 in playoff games now, back to the drawing board...

I thought you had a legit chance to win it. These playoffs have a had a short history of being crazy though.

Very tough game vs South Dakota State but made a second half come back. Fun fact SDSU Jackrabbits are 1 of 3 teams I've seen play before in real life. Harvard should be a little easier but still a tough game.

Nice, but watch out for Harvard! They definitely got the upset bug going this year... Lol

Avoided the Harvard upset train. The final score of 105-93 does not identicate how close the game really was. Moving on to play the quietly good 3rd seeded Cal State Bakersfield.

Anyone alive in this league? It has been very much cleaned out of human led squads.

This is probably the best opportunity I've had to win a conference outright and get some prestige points. However, I'll caveat that with I haven't been able to figure out my team for multiple seasons now despite a high TPI......so I'll probably blow it.

Cal, UNLV and Gtown look setup well to compete with Morehouse and Wayne pulling up the rear

I'm surprised at how much UNLV has struggled. That loss against Black Hills for me yesterday was really confusing but I probably should have lost to SDSU too so not a great trend going into a huge game against Cal!

We have a lot solid teams in this league that are making both the promotion and relegation races interesting (at least the first relegation spot). Both Harvard and Black Hills have heavy-home schedules the remainder of the year so don't be surprised if they make a run (both good teams). Shepherd is on the opposite end of the spectrum and might have a tough time holding onto a promotion slot. I would have liked my boys to have another game or two cushion at this point given my heavy road schedule, so time to buckle down!

Wyoming can probably stay up if they win all 3 of their remaining games (definitely possible), and has a decent chance even if they only win 2 of those given how difficult Harvard's schedule is to end the season.

Shepherd, do me a solid and beat Cal!

Phew, held on to win the conference after that disappointing 2nd half collapse against Manhattan. Tough draw going into the conference tourney w/ SDSU and Black Hills in the 2nd and 3rd round - two of the three teams that were tough matchups in both games this season.

Congrats as well to Cal and Cal Baptist on promotion!
