How would this work, why do we need it, and why is it more important to have than other suggestions like the transfer portal?

Personally I agree with you and most users know that I push the transfer portal concept very hard. In my eyes it is just as big as recruiting out of highschool these days.

For the NIL, it is definitely not a need, just a fun idea I had.

Sounds cool, but what would it’s function be? Obviously money doesn’t exist right now in this game, so would it just be a way to see how good the game thinks your players are doing? Or would the owner play a role in deciding the sponsorships?

I wonder how long NIL will exist in the current form. It looks like Big 10 & SEC are on the verge of paying football and basketball players directly as employees (perhaps)...not sure about other conferences.

I am in agreement with Steve. Bigger schools handle it way, more different than smaller schools.
NIL is also going to be evolving as the game goes on.

IU - Big 10

Seems we're already on one in Btown. We're on them. Our school well we've got players earning minimum eight bucks a pop whenever a, say, item of clothing is purchased, as well as earning money directly into their wallet. Importantly I feel is that the student athletes earn money, not a slice and not a percentage. It's all new.

I agree. Game of basketball was better 10-20 years ago. Although I do like the transfer portal addition however I think a player should only be allowed to transfer once in his career
