| I didn't do a lot of research, but Google says the early signing period is between Nov. 13-20 2024. On any given day in HW it seems like ~30 players commit to a program. I think it'd be cool if there was a dedicated day for a big influx that everyone could look forward to around game 8 of the season. I imagine it would carry the excitement of draft day if there were 100+ players who all announce their decision in the same week. Especially so if a certain percent of the "Hot Prospects" were involved. |

| Yes, there are NCAA specified signing periods. However, that doesn't really work with Hardwood where it needs to be a somewhat continuous process. It seems like high schoolers make their college decisions whenever anyway (AJ Dybantsa announced his decision just recently with ESPN/Stephen A. Smith on Dec 10th). I don't think he's signed a letter of intent yet (because it's outside of the signing period window). So maybe he gets a better offer and never shows up in Provo? Steve |
