| Taye McDaniel (http://onlinecollegebasketball.org/coach/6551) was also my head coach in 2039 but his coach page doesn't show him as a head coach that season and the the 2039 season isn't reflecting in his win/loss record | ||

| I don't know the reason or what the problem is, but I certainly can surmise what "might" have happened.. I'm wondering if the assistant was hired at the very beginning of the season to be head coach or was he hired mid season or sometime during the season? Just thinking that if he was hired during the season and spent part of the season as an assistant that might be the reason. But like everything, Steve is the one that knows for sure, plus I have never promoted an assistant, so what do I know. Just guessing is all. Real nice looking coach. | I just checked and I couldn't promote an assistant coach, so I guess thats not the problem. It was just a thought. Sorry. | ||

| Hmm, I always assumed it only occurred when we bumped an assistant coach up to head coach. It has happened both times when I did this. I have the same issue with my current coach, Rex Canfield. He was the head coach in 2036 when my team went to the Elite Eight, but it is not showing under his record. I wonder if this consistently happens to others in this circumstance. nsparks89 |
