Blackbeard Joined: 03/17/2019 Posts: 549 St. Johns Red Storm V.4	The below playoff schedule for the 2nd round does not look correct. Shouldn't the #1 team be playing the #13 team. The #2 should be playing #12. The #3 team should play the #9 team and... the #6 team should play the #7 team. Upcoming Conference Playoff Games for March 13th #6 Yale (19-11) @ #3 Hartford (22-8) #7 Texas Southern (18-12) @ #2 Fresno State (24-6) #12 MSU Moorhead (10-20) @ #13 Long Beach State (10-20) #9 Chaminade (11-19) @ #1 Minnesota Crookston (28-2) Am I wrong with what I wrote above? I always thought that the top ranked team always played the worst ranked. The 2nd best ranked plays the 2nd worst etc. I guess in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter because my team can't beat the top 2 anyway so who cares. This does seem to be a bug. I didn't check the 1st round so I don't know if that was incorrect as well... Thanks.

So the winner of #1 vs #16 will play the winner of #8 vs #9 (hence #1 playing #9). When UMBC as a 16 seed beat UVA as a 1 seed 2 years ago their next matchup was against 9 seeded Kansas State: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_UMBC_vs._Virginia_men%27s_basketball_game Relevant part: Virginia and UMBC competed for the right to face ninth-seeded Kansas State, which had already won their first-round game against Creighton earlier in the day.
