bhardin22 Joined: 12/24/2023 Posts: 10 Elmhurst Bluejays IV.6	What are the chances that we could get more standard nickname options for coaches and players? Coaches especially, other than "The Genius". Like I have a 5'10 kid I want to nickname "Shorty" but I can't. :/

cwb Joined: 02/08/2019 Posts: 67 Prairie View A&M Panthers IV.1	Once you've been in the game long enough, you'll get the ability to give custom nicknames. It will appear at the bottom of the nickname list as "User Defined..." and then you can type it in accordingly. This is to prevent people from signing up new accounts and giving spam-esk nicknames from Day 1.

I try to make mine be funny or to highlight something that goes with the name. It's never spam because who even looks at any of them other than myself and maybe the one friend that I have in the game. lol Not like anybody is "spamming" the forum with nasty names. As an example, I have a guy named Russell Shipp and his is nickname : Russell "Sinking" Shipp. Is that spam-esk?

At least that’s why I think Steve put in the delay… or maybe it’s just to reward those who have been around for awhile. A lot of people do goofy things with nicknames, it’s meant to add fun.

mavstar21 Joined: 08/14/2019 Posts: 89 Wisconsin-Superior Yellow Jackets III.4	I think you should go with 'Big' Taye McIntosh And I think it would be offensive for someone with a player named Russell Shipp who doesn't consider a nautical themed nickname.

I think I have some pretty good ones, like this guy: "Steep" Cliff Shackleford Then I like to go the famous people route like this guy: "Astronaut John" Glenn Swain But my favorite other than "Sinking" Shipp has to be: Graham "Cracker" Norman It is a fun part of the game and I get a chuckle out of some of mine because they can be rather stupid and silly and I have had a lot of them after all this time in the game. lol I wish more people would take the time to make up names because I wouldn't mind looking at them.
