With only 2 a day, how do yall manage recruiting, and if possible, could I get any tips on how to build a better team?

Spend, save, squander and scout. This is the strat that IU and presidents from other schools developed during the play testing days of Hardwood. You should have seen some of those stellar recruiting classes...

Spend Spend points on any kid that you would consider using enough points to go to Medium interest, all other things being equal. With time, you will know how many spent points that might require based on your own school's coaches, prestige, league level, playing time. Spend on underclassmen, juniors, sophomores, freshmen.

Save Save points whenever you don't know what to do. Listen to the silence and then act accordingly. Save when you want to see the recruiting trail clear itself up. Save when there is no competition. Save if you want rollover points for the next season, for example international recruits. Save points on the day before the multiple Development Updates throughout the season.

Squander Can't win them all. Points will be lost. Learn from recruiting mistakes. Have a bad memory about it.

Scout Look at rosters around the nation. Improve at scouting players. Look for what a player can do, not for what they cannot do. Know what league level the schools in your state and region are playing at. Monitor promotions and demotions and prestige. Check Coaching News for head coach changes. Outwork as many teams as you can on the recruiting trail.

Good advice by ced.

In addition, you need to remember that you can only save up to 45 points and after that (if sitting at 45) you lose the 2 you would normally have gotten if you didn't have 45.

Spend down your points when you get to near 45 by bolstering guys you are contacting, but save some just in case another team suddenly goes a head and you want to continue. You never want to not get the daily points.

Remember that in region recruits generally cost less than out of region and that recruits in state generally cost even less.

Chose reasonable players to recruit, meaning that the top blue chip 4 and 5 star recruits should be left for the top teams to fight over. Concentrate on players that you can reasonably expect to get. Remember that most all 2 and 3 star players are better than walk ons for beginning and building teams.

Then follow what Ced mentioned above and you should be ok. Good luck
