I'm surprised I only finished 23-7 and am pretty disappointed by how my sophomores played. I don't understand how a guy with a 17 OS has a 40% FG% and 29% 3pt%, and somehow got worse even though his SI got higher. Meanwhile, the guy with 13 OS shoots 35% from 3-point range. |

I was looking at your players that you described and thought I was going to point out some other things that might play a factor in the results that you mentioned. But honestly, those don't make sense either. I will say that this game isn't so rigid in that OS will equal fg%. Other factors play into it. For example, for shooting, a player's speed, IQ, ball handling, fatigue, and maybe even more will play into their fg% (depending on the types of shots, I could see finishing, IS, Range, strength, and driving all playing a part as well). But the players you are talking about are pretty solid. So I don't really have an answer for Rhoads at least. Currier has a solid OS/Range combo at 13/13, so 35% from 3 sounds about right. |
