Maltez0s Joined: 04/20/2020 Posts: 7 Wittenberg Tigers IV.6	Hi all, Have been thinking this since my first NBA drafted player - the great Pavlovic - that it would be cool to have a system in the future where colleges get rewarded with some prestige or some contacts or other boost if they have players who make the nba. For example the only reason i knew Florida Gators before i started with this game - and despite being a basketball fan albeit coming from Europe - is that Nick Calathes played with them during his college days.... Just a suggestion which could then be applied also if there is a distinction of players going to play oversees or deciding to follow what they studied i n college or eventually making it to the National team of their country etc.

shaggy666 Joined: 03/20/2023 Posts: 12 Fontbonne Griffins IV.7	My issue with this is that there is already a bonus for the teams that get players drafted. The players that get drafted really only come out of the top division, which is significantly easier to get 4 and 5 star recruits that are likely to get drafted over the teams in division 2 that struggle to get 5 star players and even more so for division 3. But to give them even more of an advantage by granting them extra contacts would make upward mobility from divisions even tougher than it already is. There already is a prestige system, it's through the divisions. Adding on top of that would make it too difficult for other teams to move forward, particularly from division 2 to 1 if your idea were to go through since the users in D2 are trying get the best 4 star players and possibly poach a 5 star. That would be even more difficult and result in just endless bonuses to the top teams. The top division already has a bonus, which is fair and makes sense, no need to add on to it.
