Notes: Blake Green, 1x Freshman of the year 3x all-conference, and 1x conference player of the year. He's the only player from JMU to be drafted in the NBA as he was selected 12th overall in the NBA draft this last year. There's little that can be said that hasn't already been noted with Green. He was a real unicorn of a player as he could play basically any position you wanted him to on the floor and do anything you asked him to. Rebound, shoot, ball handling, he had it all. His skillsets led JMU to 2 of the 4 tournament berths in the schools' entire history and despite the school having a disappointing year his senior season, he'll be forever immortalized as not just a JMU great but probably the greatest player to ever lace 'em up for JMU. |
