Hall of Famer Jacob Barnes
United States   #3 - Jacob Barnes [ID #22078]     C
Home Town: Memphis, Tennessee   Tennessee           High School: Melrose High School           C PF
Hall Of Famer                     Years: 2003 - 2007                     Height: 6' 9½"                     Skill Index: 152
Games 166, 13.9 ppg, 60.6% fgp, 7.7 rpg, 1.2 spg, 1.3 bpg, 27.9 mpg
Notes: Another Blue Raider that was robbed of an opportunity to play in the NBA, Barnes was a ★★★ recruit in 2003, the year Middle Tennessee State made their first tournament appearance. He won back-to-back All-Conference awards and led Middle Tennessee State to a #3 seed in 2007 as a senior. He is and will be an inspiration for centers to come.

Our Town, Our Team - Jacob Barnes (2003-2007)

Hall of Famer Chase Norwood
United States   #3 - Chase Norwood [ID #54649]     C
Home Town: Tallulah, Louisiana   Louisiana           High School: Tallulah High School           C pf
Hall Of Famer                     Years: 2008 - 2012                     Height: 6' 8½"                     Skill Index: 159
Games 163, 16.3 ppg, 57.9% fgp, 10.5 rpg, 1.4 bpg, 31.4 mpg
Notes: Chase Norwood really beat the odds when it came to being one of the best players on the most mediocre Blue Raider teams. Originally a ★★, he got three-straight All-Conference awards from 2010-2012, and won Conference POTY in 2011, all without taking any of his teams past the conference tournament. Definitely the most underrated player from the dark days.

One Town, One Team - Chase Norwood (2008-2012)

Hall of Famer Zane Ainsworth
United States   #11 - Zane Ainsworth [ID #3877]     SG

Games 119, 16.6 ppg, 2.8 3pg, 35.3% 3pp, 86.4% ftp, 1.8 spg, 29.0 mpg
Notes: Though he didn't end up making the NBA, Zane Ainsworth still impress those who came to see him play in The Glass House. Recruited as a ★★★, he and Steve Leigh were a force to be reckon with in 2003, and Ainsworth took home Conference POTY (Player Of The Year) and All-Conference in 2003. He will be known as one of the best to wear the Blue and White.

Games 167, 12.9 ppg, 49.8% fgp, 0.6 3pg, 31.1 mpg
Notes: Jelani Wilson was a great part of the Blue Raider team that finished with the #3 seed in the tournament. Recruited as ★★, he was a force to be reckon with on the three-point line. He was the driving force during the Cinderella run to the #3 seed in 2007. He won All-Conference in 2008, and was snubbed in the draft like most Blue Raiders, possibly due to his ★★ rating.

Our Town, Our Team - Jelani Wilson (2004-2008)

Games 127, 13.5 ppg, 55.6% fgp, 8.3 rpg, 1.1 spg, 1.6 bpg, 29.3 mpg
Notes: The only Middle Tennessee State player to reach the NBA, Leigh was a ★★★ recruit in 2000, an All-Conference in his senior year, 2003, and led Middle Tennessee State to their first tournament appearance, a #15 seed loss to #2 Saint Mary's Minnesota. Drafted by the New York Knicks in the 1st round, he played 8 years with them before his abrupt retirement in 2011.

Games 151, 10.4 ppg, 1.9 3pg, 34.5% 3pp, 3.5 apg, 23.2 mpg
Notes: Among the ones robbed in the draft to players from Cal State East Bay, don't let his stats fool you. Cox played on one of most talented teams in Middle Tennessee State. Recruited as a ★★★, he was a key part in the 2007 team that was the most talented in terms of how Middle Tennessee State plays now. He was All-Conference in 2007, which was also his senior year.

One Town, One Team - Jon Cox (2003-2007)

Games 159, 11.7 ppg, 1.9 3pg, 33.8% 3pp, 3.2 apg, 1.3 spg, 27.7 mpg
Notes: The most recent player from Middle Tennessee to get their number on the rafters, he played a huge part in the 2016 tournament team. He was recruited as a ★★, but shined throughout as one of the best forwards in the conference. He got his due in 2016, when he finally won an All-Conference. He always rocked the house when it came to coming through in tough games.

One Town, One Team - Doug Reiter (2013-2017)
