Games 175, 14.4 ppg, 46.0% fgp, 1.7 3pg, 36.1% 3pp, 4.7 apg, 1.4 spg, 23.3 mpg |
Notes: One of my recruits, was in the top 5 of points and assists in conference IV for the season. He led the team to winning the conference over a very tough defensive team of St. Thomas who beat us twice in the regular season. In the NT we lost to the 6 seeded admin team as a 3 seed. Rush and Parnell were two more very good graduates on this team. They started along with Owen and Wallace. Clinton was huge off the bench as a redshirt freshman. |

Home Town: Charlotte, North Carolina
High School: South East High School SF SG pg |
Hall Of Famer Years: 2016 - 2020 Height: 6' 2" Skill Index: 173 |
|
Games 161, 6.8 ppg, 1.0 3pg, 79.9% ftp, 15.5 mpg |
Notes: Great example of a four star recruit wasted with no redshirt and not much playing time. Out played by redshirts Lewis and Bush who started with Hopkins, bigger but definitely not better than mantle, and Bauer and Fogarty who surprisingly had 11 POTG awards. Finished in the middle in division 1. Not paying much attention to the game right now, we'll see if that costs me. |

Games 86, 21.1 ppg, 3.0 3pg, 34.3% 3pp, 80.3% ftp, 2.8 apg, 1.3 spg, 30.8 mpg |
Notes: Recruited as a JUCO Freshman, started two years, was the star in his senior year. My first four or five star recruit.
I ought for promotion this fourth year, and again failed, had four games left, and had to win three of them, got one bad upset, and lost to the fourth place team who passed me with that win. |
#24 - Calvin Connolly [ID #54396] PG |
Home Town: Dearborn Heights, Michigan
High School: West Dearborn Heights High School PG SF |
Hall Of Famer Years: 2010 - 2012 Height: 6' 2½" Skill Index: 161 |
|
Games 79, 11.2 ppg, 1.6 3pg, 82.5% ftp, 5.2 apg, 28.4 mpg |
Notes: A Juco recruit in my first year, grew very well and was my starting point guard two years in a row. Didn't have as good of stats as I would've liked, but double digit points and 5+ assists aren't bad. Was very foul prone.
In this year, my third year, I was fighting for promotion, but was not quite good enough. Was one of the top 5 or 6 teams for sure, played young players the last 10 games and finished 7th, did make it to the semis of my conference tournament. Failed to make the D 2 tournament. |
#34 - Blair Owen [ID #69024] SF |
Home Town: Toronto, Ontario
High School: Harper High School SF pg |
Hall Of Famer Years: 2011 - 2016 Height: 6' 3" Skill Index: 173 |
|
Games 181, 11.8 ppg, 1.5 3pg, 35.5% 3pp, 87.2% ftp, 1.8 spg, 29.7 mpg |
Notes: Good skill index, but not in the right places, hence is relatively poor stats. Was a pretty solid defender. We promoted in third up to conference II. Starters were Brand Clinton Owen Perrone (AS A RS FRESHMAN) and Wallace played well despite being only 6'7 1/2. |
#40 - Eddie Clinton [ID #76144] PG |
Home Town: Asheville, North Carolina
High School: Memorial High School PG SF sg |
Hall Of Famer Years: 2013 - 2018 Height: 6' 4½" Skill Index: 194 |
|
Games 182, 10.9 ppg, 51.2% fgp, 84.8% ftp, 3.1 apg, 1.6 spg, 24.5 mpg |
Notes: Underperformed his skill index, but was still a solid player. First player to get drafted so that's a win. 2nd round pick 18 by Brooklyn. Demoted back to conference II 1. Starters were Clinton, Dempsey, Holm, Perrone, and Fogarty, Bauer and Lewis chiefly off the bench. |
#43 - Kerry Brand [ID #71483] PG |
Home Town: Daytona Beach, Florida
High School: Mainland High School PG sg |
Hall Of Famer Years: 2012 - 2017 Height: 6' 2½" Skill Index: 178 |
|
Games 173, 10.6 ppg, 51.2% fgp, 5.5 apg, 1.4 spg, 22.9 mpg |
Notes: Superb point guard chiefly as a Jr and Sr played very little as a freshman and sophomore. Great wingspan and great driving and finishing, good field goal percentage. This year I promoted to the top tier of division I finishing second to Lewis and Clark but winning the conference tournament, lost in second round of NT due to injuries to Perrone and backup Holm. Starting lineup of Brand Dempsey Clinton Perrone and Wallace. I tactics due to Wallace being my second best starting 3-point shooter... |
#45 - Tommy Bailey [ID #58981] C |
Home Town: Charlotte, North Carolina
High School: Hayes High School C pf |
Hall Of Famer Years: 2009 - 2014 Height: 6' 7½" Skill Index: 152 |
|
Games 168, 11.9 ppg, 55.3% fgp, 9.8 rpg, 1.3 bpg, 26.0 mpg |
Notes: I redshirted him my first year, and started him at center from his RS Sophomore year on. Was very close to averaging a double double for his career.
This year I promoted winning conference V. 10 easily behind a stellar lineup of Bridges, Rush, Owen, Parnell, and Bailey, four of my recruits plus bailey. |
