Notes: Walter Locke’s story is everything that’s great about college basketball. After failing to land at a four year college on scholarship he paid his dues at the JuCo level. His combination of skill and immense physical talent quickly established him as a highly touted recruit in the Mid Atlantic. Spurning opportunities to play elsewhere he committed to staying in his home state with Johns Hopkins where he dominated competition at the Division 3 and 2 levels. Locke played a central role in Hopkins promotion bid in 2039, and it was only a spate of injuries that derailed a second consecutive promotion in 2040. And while Hopkins tournament performances left much to be desired, his teams have the distinction of being the first to ever earn back to back NT berths. After giving everything he had to the college game, Locke enjoyed the distinction of being drafted In the 2nd round by the Dallas Mavericks, with whom he hopes to write the next chapter of his basketball story.
