Notes: Mike "Hollywood" Schneider, an unheralded 2-star recruit from Kentucky, left Benedictine as one of its most prolific scorers and decorated ball players. A member of 3 National tournament teams, winner of 2 Conference Championships, and a winner of 2 Conference Tournament Championships, Mike spearheaded the transition from the old regime into the new and set a new standard for the program. One of the first recruits of the aarjschn presidential stint, along with Reuben Klein and Darren Garrett, Schneider set new shooting records for the program and finished top 10 in several program categories. He finished his career 3rd in scoring, the top 3 point shooter in program history (by a large margin), top 10 in assists, top 10 in steals, and 2nd overall in plus/minus behind his behemoth of a friend, Joseph Matthews.

Mike Schneider helped resurrect the program and catapult it into Division 1 contention. It remains to be seen if his proteges, Kyle Judge, Max Walker, and Shawn Harwood, can continue to carry the torch. His late game heroics and clutch shot making are missed greatly by Coach Bledsoe. His competitive spirit still litters the halls of the practice facility and pushes those who followed in his footsteps to play with the Benedictine motto - Ut in omnibus glorificetur Deus. That in all things God may be glorified, especially in the Rice Center.
