Jan 16 2031: J.P. Buckner Selected in the second round of the draft - by WuJiaFeng on March 15th, 2023

His family and current head coach Lorenzo Garza were delighted at the moment he was selected. J.P. Buckner said: He thanked Garza and his team for cultivating me in the past 4 years, President WuJiaFeng of Virginia Tech actively recruited me. He mentioned again that these teammates and juniors led the team to the D3 NCAA Tournament after eight years, and will continue to work hard when they become professional

Mar 10 2030: 8 seasons apart NCAA Tournament - by WuJiaFeng on February 3rd, 2023

This is the fifth time in Lorenzo Garza's coaching career and the third time as a head coach to enter the Ncaa Tournament. I thought I would play the Invitational Games to practice the next school year lineup
I didn’t expect to really enter the NCAA Tournament. As for the seniors who are about to graduate, they plan to play the NCAA Tournament. Although the playing time of the juniors may be reduced, the juniors said that this is their first time to play the NCAA Tournament. They are very excited and hope to enjoy the game

As for Josh Gehrig and Stanley Stark, they will stay with the team and concentrate on class most of the time, so that the 18-year-old juniors who have less playing time will have the opportunity to experience the Ncaa Tournament

Aug 30 2029: coaching staff - by WuJiaFeng on December 16th, 2022

Jason Shafer and Tyson Jeter decided to take time off to be with their families after discussions with the school

Laurence Foster and Lucas Moore are in place as replacements and two new assistant coaches are also welcome

As for the coaching team headed by Lorenzo Garza, they approached me to talk about Rich Manning being fired or taking over as the head coach of Virginia Tech. The main reason for this is that the new president wants to find his own team. The current leadership is not bad. Unless you are stagnant in coaching, you will not be able to find it now. Rich Manning

Mar 12 2028: Promotion to Division 2 - by WuJiaFeng on October 14th, 2022

Praise Virginia Tech's coaching staff for assisting Lorenzo Garza, and also praise the current McKendree head coach Kyle Taylor, after all, he ended Virginia Tech's six years in Division 3, although the VI.30 Conference finals missed Tournament

Promoted to Division 2 next season, hope Lorenzo Garza will lead the coaching staff and players
There will be no pressure to face these strong teams

The Recruiting part is mainly based on mid-Atlantic Virginia high school players. We will not force the recruitment of 4 or 5 star high school players. We also welcome two 2 star players, Freddie Love and Heath Reno.
Especially with Heath Reno looking to add depth at center as Ernie Bates is about to graduate, and I know it can't be just Walt Costa and Eddie Baker.
