It is not easy for Virginia Tech to enter the D3 NCAA tournament after six years. I hope the players enjoy the game. Some players said they know Garza will leave the team after the season change next year and hope that the NCAA tournament will give him a different gift.

I want to apologize to everyone. Previously, Lorenzo Garza's contract expired early this year and he planned to resign after the season change. After talking with him about the recruitment part, he finally decided to sign three-year contract with Virginia Tech, The new contract is confirmed to be executed in 2038.

Lorenzo Garza announced his resignation from Virginia Tech after the 2037 season. The school confirmed the news. There are many candidates for the new head coach, including three assistant coaches.

Two assistant coaches at Virginia Tech, Lucas Moore and Lawrence Foster, originally planned to stay until the age of 51 before voluntarily leaving the team. They plan to spend time with their families next season and will no longer serve as assistant coaches at the school.
