Since I became the new president of Marshall University, I have decided to move on from our former coach and hire Micah Laird who is hopefully going to turn this team around for the better. We are going to start hitting the recruiting trail and see what he can rake in for us. Here is to a new beginning for Marshall U filled with championships and fun!

After a 22 win season last year, mark5 was named the new president of Marshall. The new president tried to salvage a poor recruiting year as he recruited 2 prospects days after being named. Then he turned his attention to a new coach. Marshall went out and hired Greg Weber as the new coach. In his first press conference Weber had this to say about the school. "I am excited to be here and honored they chose me. I want to get started right away. As for the schedule, we are in a tough conference and our rivalry game with Ferris will be a test of how good we actually are." Marshall will look to improve recruitment this year.
