Bearcats Jay Brandon (PF/C) and Wesley Rinialdi (PG) were honored by the UC program on Senior Night.
Jay Brandon finishes his UC career Top 10 in points, rebounds, and blocked shots. Jay was also a member of the 2029 All-Conference team at center.
Wesley Rinaldi finishes his UC career #3 all-time in assists and 8th all-time in steals.

Cincinnati, OH: In Doc Booker's 5th full-season at the helm, he coached the Bearcats to a 24-18 record (15-15 in conference play) and led the program to win #300 this season while earning an invite the the Invitational Tournament.
The Bearcats won 8 of their final 10 regular-season games to move up the conference standings and maintain a spot in the top league.
Junior center Lewis Colonna was named Team MVP during a campaign that saw him average 17.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per night.
Seniors starter Brian Schrock and reserve Dick Hills have played their final game in black in red.

Cincinnati, OH: Men's head basketball coach Rob Weiss guided the Bearcats to a third-place finish in II.2 with an 18-12 conference record (25-17 overall). Junior center Tony Blue was name Most Outstanding Player averaging 14 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. The Bearcats were upset by lower-seeded (and National Tournament runner-up) Florida in the second round of the conference tournament and failed to make the 2001 National Tournament.

Cincinnati, OH.: The University of Cincinnati secured its second JUCO recruit for next season in 6'9" forward Elliot Foster out of Chicago. Foster averaged 12pts and 9 boards for his JC team. Bearcats HC Rob Weiss tells us Foster has the ability to play on the glass or on the wing.

Cincinnati, OH.: Bearcats Head Coach Rob Weiss secured his first recruit for next season with JUCO transfer Brett Murphay out of St. Louis, Mo. The 6'11-1/2" center who averages 14 points and nearly 10 rebounds per game will fill a front court need for the Cats who only have Tony Blue as the only scholarship center going into next season.
