Lightning Strikes VI.17 -
by El Jefe2 on May 23rd, 2025
For the first time since 2028, the Goldey Beacom Lightning are champions! The scrappy fundamentals squad thrashed Towson 72-29 in the VI.17 conference championship game for the program's 3rd overall trophy. The accompanying tournament appearance will also be Goldey's first since that 2028 season. Attendance is up, spirits are up, and the Lightning will look to strike again in the D3 National tournament

by El Jefe2 on May 21st, 2025
How has Goldey Beacom, with no guards who can shoot, and no big men who can score on the interior, ended up with the highest eFG% in VI.17? It's simple, until it's not. This unselfish form of basketball has started to pay dividends as the roster moves to it's upperclassmen years

Release #2 (this one), would like to highlight that Goldey has held 9 opponents to 37 points or under this season. A truly remarkable achievement for a set of overlooked recruits just trying to make their way in life
