Nov 13 2010: Jelani Seay earns 4th POG - by Izz09200 on January 30th, 2020

The Lakers are off to a great start to the new season, thanks in large part to the play of Jelani Seay. Although his averages are down from last year, the 6'9" senior earned his 4th player of the game award and continues to provide incredible efficiency for his team. He's scored 20 points in each of the last two games, and 13 and 16 rebounds. He is getting better each game, and looks very ready for conference play.

Mar 14 2009: Conference Tourney Champs! - by Izz09200 on November 15th, 2019

After an up-and-down season, the Lakers beat the top 3 teams in the conference tournament to finish as tournament champs in 2009. Baron Schell came through in the clutch and will be remembered as one of GVSU's all-time greats. The team is excited to be headed to the post-season to continue this remarkable run.
