The Wildcats are off to a great start this season sitting at 10-2 and starting conference play at 2-0 while being led by Brad Cottrell and Bernie Ledbetter coming off the bench. Coach Cruz says he plans to do big things this season and that everyone has one goal in mind. The Wildcats look to improve on this 10-2 record against Georgia State at home. While already beating the Panthers 100-49 in the preseason, Coach Cruz has made it an emphasis at practice that this isn't the same team from October and is looking for this game to be a hard fought one.
