A great season, and great prospects. -
by CandelabraHarris on July 18th, 2025
With the season coming to a close after the invitationals, the Badgers are getting ready to say goodbye to four upstanding young men. We also shared farewells with our head coach Stan Marcum who will likely start enjoying his well-earned retirement days. Pat Ruth from North Carolina has helmed the program since late winter, and the locker room has taken an immediate liking to him.
Looking towards next season, the Badgers will take part in the D3 challenge. The Myrtle Beach Invitational looks like a hefty challenge, but both the front office and the players are looking forward to the event.
Recruiting-wise, Spring Hill has started to attract the kind of scholarship players the school has not seen in decades, and we hope to keep it that way.

Two baby steps forward, one baby step back. The start of 2045 season -
by CandelabraHarris on April 11th, 2025
Match-wise the season start hasn't been all that eventful. The program has barely started so a 1-1 opening hasn't raised any eyebrows. Losing the Mobile rivalry game did sting a bit, but was mostly expected.
Reportedly things got heated in the admin office when the program's starting SF Renteria voiced his displeasure for being both the started -and- the second option PG and the management staff adamantly refuting any such arrangement was ever done. The prez gave a short interview to the campus newspaper, even showing the whiteboard with the team's depth chart, which showed Renteria only in the Small Forward position.
The student reporter pointed out after the fact how the prez' cologne smelled oddly like a whiteboard marker and his tongue was strangely black.

Badgers bow out from the postseason -
by CandelabraHarris on March 25th, 2025
With a round 1 exit from the conference playoffs, the 2044 season is winding down in Spring Hill. With this, the players get a small reprieve before turning their focus on the next season. This is also a bittersweet time for the team as a whole, as we get ready to send off fine young men out into world at large.
We'd like to offer our thanks to the following to-be graduates:
Byron Berger, the starting Point Guard leading the charge
Oliver Howe, the Perthite Power Forward and the team's leading scorer
Rico Lea, the starting Center and leading rebounder.

The Spring Hills are alive with the sound of sneakers on hardwood. -
by CandelabraHarris on March 8th, 2025
The Badgers, a program ran by the after school tea & crumpets club for the last five seasons, has finally hired a full-time President of Basketball Operations. The prez is pleased to start work with the college board immediately. Though his general appearance, namely clear tan-lines and a faded sticker tattoo saying La Verne has raised some eyebrows.
The program will focus solely on getting a head start into the 2045 and 2046 seasons by putting emphasis on current high school juniors; since the work done by the after school tea & crumpets club, although an admirable cause, has been atrocious.
