Tampa basketball has had one of its best seasons in a while with an impressive 31-11 record. Unfortunately, Tampa was recently eliminated from the conference playoffs but the team hopes to earn their rightful spot in the NCAA tournament.

The Tampa program is now on face 2 of the "renovation" process as we have now finished with an impressive 23-17 regular-season record and after a nice win over SUNY Fredonia, we look to make some noise in the conference tournament. Amani Watts has shown he is a star as he has averaged 17 points & 10 boards a game. HC Johnny Di Marco & Tampa fans hope this is the beginning of an excellent era of basketball and hope for a tournament appearance next season.

It was once again another tough season for Tampa basketball. Tampa finished with an 8-33 and we expect better from top to bottom. As for recruiting Tampa landed 3 players on scholarships PG Phill Ellis 2 Star, PF Dick Carpenter 3 Star, & C Everett Driver 2 Star. Next season expect a winning team.

Despite Tampa's weak 4-15 start I want fans to know the future is bright our freshman & sophomores are improving at rapid rates and already proving to be top players on the team and the conference. As our average starting 5 age increases so will the number of wins. So Tampa fans keep the faith.
