Press Releases:

Apr 02 2018: Turnovers, Fouls and Elmer Cain end Cinderella run - by Mobbie on April 8th, 2021

Brockport (40-10) couldn't overcome the very talented Hawaii squad (48-2) in the D3 Tournament Final with a final score of 75-57. The turnover margin (-8) and free throw disparity (outshot 17-2) were simply too much, especially given Brockport's focus on winning those two important statistical categories throughout the season. Unfortunately Brockport couldn't finish busting many people's brackets with Hawaii being a very popular D3 champion pick.

Coach Micah Laird offered his high praise for his graduating seniors, his first actual group of recruits, who were key in leading the 7 seed on their Cinderella run to the Finals.

Brockport look forward to the bigger challenge of D2 next season and look to continue building on this season's success.
