The North Central College Cardinals are preparing to perform strongly in Division V next season after making the Final Four of the Div III tournament and a runaway win in Div VI.21

While the Cardinals feel they missed their chance in the Tournament semi-final, they have high hopes for next season, with the bulk of their roster returning, spearheaded by star point guard Aidan Meehan and small forward Leonard Steffen.

North Central College has overcome an inconsistent start to the season to steam home and take the conference title on the back of 16 consecutive victories.

Superbly led by coach Dick Farrell and captain Paul Handley, the Cardinals added depth has been a feature of its consistency in the second half of the season.

North Central College is now firmly focussed on the playoffs and tournament play, before preparing to take on Division V next season.

The North Central College Cardinals have signed Head Coach Dick Farrell after parting ways with Pete Herrick.

The Cardinals entered this season with high hopes of developing a winning culture but was unable to achieve a satisfactory level of achievement.

We thank Coach Herrick for his efforts in recruiting a strong, young team, and wish him all the best for the future.

We look forward in Dick Farrell doing his best over the remainder of this season to avoid relegation, while developing our strong Freshman class.

North Central College has thrown its support behind head coach Pete Herrick despite being relegated from Division IV.

The Cardinals have confirmed Herrick will be retained for a second full season, to help continue to build a competitive roster.

Herrick has been behind an outstanding recruiting class, with six talented High School players committing to the Cardinals for next season.

With Damian Corradi and Max Buck returning as seniors, the Alumni of NCC look forward to those freshmen developing quickly and helping to return the Cardinals to the top divisions.
