Jan 25 2024: Becker Ties Scoring Record - by mjreinhard23 on February 18th, 2022

With 24 points in the loss to Beloit, Tommie Becker has tied Reggie Page as Fordhams all-time scoring leader with 2,437 career points. Becker tied the record with a tip-in with 32 seconds remaining in the contest. Fans wanting to watch Becker break the record will have to wait tough. Becker came down awkwardly following the tip-in and will sit out the next game against St Thomas. He will return to action when Fordham hosts LSU on Feb 1st. The school announced the first 500 fans will receive a commemorative Tommie Becker autographed program. Go Rams!

Mar 31 2018: New President - by mjreinhard23 on April 8th, 2021

Following their worst season since 2002, the Fordham Rams have hired a new President, mjreinhard23. Having only 5 returning scholarship players for next season, Reinhard has a lot of work to do. “We have several key players returning and we have a few solid recruits coming in,” Reinhard said. “We only need a few key pieces to get us back to where we want to be.” There is speculation Reinhard will want to replace longtime coach Reece Keeler in the next few weeks. Fordham grad and 2015 NBA first round pick, Dave Spence said “Reinhard is exactly what Fordham needs to get back to its winning ways. I’m excited to see what he can bring to the team over the next few seasons. Go Rams!”
