What is missing in this vast world of owner/manager sports games? That's right, Football. Good ol' American Football. We want it, you need it, you know it. The internet is a veritable black-hole/wasteland when it comes to good manager football games. Bring the scouting-contact system/league structures and Team names right over from Hardwood, and get this thing going. Even simple tactics early on would be satisfying. |

Gotta be college, I believe college management games are best due to the revolving door of players, allowing for less chance of one guy unfairly dominating for a long time. Imagine if Wendt was in the game for 18 seasons. 2. Needs to have the triple option |

Getting to read those play-by-plays for a football game would hit like absolute crack. Plus getting to make an offensive scheme, it would actually be so sick. |

Obviously I know a cfb version of hardwood would be a ton of work, I'm just saying that I have tried a really high amount of online sports management games and Hardwood and Broken Bat are easily the most fun two that I've played, and if you did make a college football game, which is my favorite sport, it would be really sick. | ||

I've played Basketball, football, baseball, hockey, soccer, and even an MMA one. None of them feel like hardwood. I think how you have players built is a big factor as I don't think I've had two players who felt the exact same, similar who fit the same role, yes, but they were never the exact same. A lot of games I see have the same player builds over and over, Hardwood you don't know exactly what you're gonna get when they finish developing. This community is also very different from most places, I hate games with P2W aspects no matter how small. Imagine if there was a paywall to see INTL development from their entire high school career. We already play without it but something like that would create a rift in the player base where there is always that feeling of haves vs have-nots. And I understand why games have to do this, but that is the trade-off. By having a game where everyone is on the same level is much healthier. Being in LL1 gives an advantage over a new LL6 team but being in LL1 has to be earned, you can't just pay real money for a personal 5-star, to get special scouting measures, better team development, or something else. Everyone had to get it out of the same mud and turn it into wins. I am very thankful for this game being free, if there was ever a moment when that is no longer possible I would love to see if there is a way to keep a P2W option off the table. I think I could list about 20 things that your games do better than most/all. It is the way you build the game and make it feel is what we want in a Football game, I'm going to try RZA again but I have to say that the last time I tried it, it just didn't feel like football to me. As you said it is not a near future thing if you ever do it, but I would be the first person to sign up if you ever do. And I would also like to thank you for making Hardwood and BB. I know we ask for a lot of changes in the forums, myself included, but I think if you never updated the game again it would still be the best simulation game for at least the next 10 years. You taking the time to respond to almost every idea shows the love and care you have for this game and everyone appreciates that. |

I don't know what it is specifically about Hardwood that makes it like this, but I have 6 wins this whole season and for all intents and purposes it's a lost season, but I still cared like crazy when my guys got a win today because something about this game makes it so easy to really feel a connection with the players and the team. It's that feeling and the feeling of just how rewarding the whole experience is that would be so awesome in college football, like watching the game action of your first ever 4-star QB making big throws to lock up a promotion, it would be really incredible, and while that can happen in other games, Hardwood and Broken Bat and the way they feel are just on another level.
