Buoyed by a great first half, the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers survived a 5 game losing streak to hold on to 3rd place, giving them their 3rd promotion in 3 years.
Coach Todd Konig, promoted to head coach at the start of the season in somewhat of a surprise move, gives his players and staff all the credit: "BG and of course Gregg came to play every day" he said, "and I had the eyes and ears of the greatest coaching staff in Warren County and perhaps the whole 5 county area."
