Spent your recruiting points (all carry over points above 10 will be halved for next season) 3. Select Schedule Mode (Up/Down/Any) 4. Setup any rivalry games for next season PLEASE make sure you have your redshirt selections made. I can not undo redshirt decisions after the flip. It causes problems with the databases. baller1987 Joined: 06/04/2023 Posts: 45 Central State Marauders V.5	how can you decide whom you want to redshirt when you don't have a complete roster for the following season, meaning your new guys along with your current roster of players. After all, you may decide that you want to redshirt one of your incoming players along with a player who's already on the roster! Besides that, I don't understand what you mean when you say that you can't make adjustments after the season flip with regards to redshirting. Can you clarify please? Thank you.

Sa6o Joined: 09/14/2020 Posts: 6 Rockhurst Hawks II.2	redshirt from last season is already done, the players which were selected as redshirt are now RS players. when you have your new players you can decide who to redshirt in the new season and he will be a RS in the season after. admin means that players that were selected as RS last season are now RS for the new one and this action can't be undone.

Mobbie Joined: 07/14/2020 Posts: 6 SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles III.4	It is really important to note that Redshirting is officially an actual end of season determination but something you unofficially decide very early. Anyone who played 5 or less games and isn't a SR, can come back next year as a RS of the year they just were (FR -> RS FR, SO -> RS SO, JR -> RS JR). But you as coach have to decide if you want to preserve the option to redshirt a player by making sure they don't exceed 5 games played. You can set their playing time to 0 minutes so they don't play. So incoming FR players today don't redshirt til the final day of a season. However realistically, you must decide soon in approximate the next week so that they don't play over their 5 games. Updated Friday, November 17 2023 @ 12:20:13 pm PST

Hopefully, we all know who is eligible to be redshirted: any non-senior scholarship player who has played in 5 or fewer games excluding exhibitions and invitational games. However, a president may not want to redshirt all players who qualify. If you just took over a team and don’t like a particular player, you may sit them at the end of the bench and never play them and thus they would qualify for a redshirt. Rather than instituting a rule whereby all players who qualify are redshirted, Steve has given us the option of whether or not to redshirt them. Thus, at the end of the season after all the games have been played, the game determines whether any players are eligible to be redshirted. If they are, then they are redshirted only if the president has decided to redshirt them (by checking the redshirt box). So Steve was reminding us to check the box if we wanted to redshirt someone last season.
